MLA citation style is used in English classes and other courses at CAC.  Here are some resources to help you create great citations for the resources you find and use in your writing

2014 Citations MLA.docx   2-page handout on basic citations

2013 Citing Images MLA Front Page.docx  1-page handout on citing images, DVDs and YouTube videos

2013 Citing MLA Tables Figures Back Page.docx   1-page handout on citing tables and graphs in your paper

If you have further questions, you can look online for answers through Purdue University's Online Writing Lab.  Their website has information on in-text citations and citing books, journals, and online articles.  If you have a resource not covered in the handouts (such as an interview or television show), you can check the "other sources" section for examples.

For in-person help, please contact CAC's Tutoring Center.  The phone number for SPC is 520-494-5570; they can connect you with the tutors at other locations if you are at another campus.
